The symbol of Gyeongbuk Provincial College emphasizes the college’s quality of a cynosure as the basic visual identifier.
This symbols’ morphology is designed to symbolize Gyeongbuk with a Korean letter "Gyeong" and the name of the College with "Gyeongdo" in the center. This indirectly also represent a key for problem-solving. The leaves, representing Korean letter "Dae" College and a forum of professional education, are embracing the Gyeongbuk and Gyeongbuk Provincial College in a V form. The large circle in the border represents the universe while the small circle represents the Earth, and Gyeongbuk Provincial College’s name in Korean and English is printed in between two concentric circles.
The color symbolism in the emblem are white in the "Gyeongdo" mark for hope and sacredness, the blue in the background to represent the tradition and sublimity, and gold to conceptualize movements and enthusiasm.
